John Pitre's "North Swell Rising" is an oil on canvas depicting ancient Hawaiian voyagers that would brave great ocean swells, as they would travel huge distances between the elegant islands they called home. Off in the distance villagers would light fires on the shorelines to guide them home at the end of their expedition.
*** Framed canvases are individually hand-assembled using high quality Plantation Grown Radiata Pine. By combining recycled all-natural wood resources with the Radiata Pine, a beautiful deep black and solid frame results. The artwork is gallery wrapped, framed and inset, leaving a 3/8” (.95 cm) space between canvas and frame. The framing bar is 1.25" (3.18 cm) at its widest.
Your framed canvas will be ready to hang right out of the box.
