What frame comes with my museum-quality archival canvas artwork?

Each piece arrives ready to hang on museum-quality archival canvas. A frame is not automatically included with every piece, but collectors have the option to add a carefully selected, gallery-grade floater frame for an elevated presentation.

When selected, each floater frame is milled from premium hardwood and hand-finished for a refined, exhibition-worthy look. Select frame options may include hand-coated metallic or gold-gilded finishes, chosen to complement and elevate the artwork without competing with it.

The floater frame creates a subtle gap around the canvas, giving the illusion that the artwork is suspended within the frame—an effect commonly seen in top galleries and museums.

For collectors seeking something even more bespoke, custom framing upgrades are available. Our team will guide you through additional finishes, profiles, and statement options, so we can perfectly tailor your piece to your space.

John begins with a hand-painted oil color study, using a palette he premixes himself. From there, he develops the composition through traditional painting before bringing the work into a high-resolution digital environment.

Once in the digital environment, John spends months refining, expanding, and enhancing the piece by hand using a professional graphics tablet. This allows him to build upon the original concept while preserving the emotion, movement, and artistic intention of the painting.

The completed image is then printed onto the finest artist’s canvas using museum-quality giclée printing with permanent, lightfast pigments. This archival process is designed for exceptional longevity and stability, helping the work resist the cracking, fading, and degradation often associated with traditional oil paintings over time.

John then finishes the piece by overpainting in oil and/or acrylic, adding hand-painted detail, depth, texture, and final artistic expression.
